Ottawa Facility - Quality Inspector

Ottawa, Ontario | Full-time | $55,000-$70,000 per year

Position Summary

The Quality Inspector performs incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure PRE Labs products meet established specifications and workmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and components.
• Conduct in-process manufacturing inspections.
• Perform final inspection prior to product release.
• Verify dimensions, workmanship, labelling, configuration, and documentation.
• Record inspection results accurately.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and products.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Verify product identification and traceability.
• Maintain inspection equipment.
• Work closely with Production while maintaining independent quality judgment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing inspection or quality experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written documentation skills.
• Ability to interpret specifications and work instructions.
• Textile or sewn-product experience is an asset.
