PRE Labs Inc. is a Canadian-owned company based in Kelowna, BC. We’ve been designing and manufacturing high performance body armour and tactical gear for over eight years, serving police, military, and security professionals across the country. All our products, from ballistic panels to carriers and custom patches, are proudly made in-house at our Kelowna facility.

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone reliable, hands-on, and detail-oriented to join our patch production team. You’ll help make high-quality patches using heat press vinyl and embroidery machines. If you’ve got a bit of experience and are looking to step up, we’d also love to hear from anyone interested in taking on a lead hand role in the future.

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll work closely with our Operations Manager and production team to design and manufacture patches. Training is provided, but you’ll be expected to pick up some technical skills along the way.

Tasks include:

• Running machines like heat presses, vinyl cutters and embroidery machines (training provided)
• Designing patterns and graphics
• Making patches using both embroidery and heat-transfer vinyl
• Some light lifting (up to 40 lbs)
• Keeping your work area tidy and machines maintained
• Helping out other teams when needed
• Staying organized and keeping track of orders
• Meeting deadlines and keeping things moving
• Working closely with customers to achieve their final designs
• Organizing, tracking, prioritizing patch orders within our system
• Documenting and organizing customer design files, samples, mock-ups, e-mails etc.

What We’d Like to See:
(These are “nice to haves”, we’re happy to train the right person)

• 6+ months experience in a shop, warehouse, or production setting
• Experience with embroidery machines (Melco or similar) is a plus
• Experience with vinyl cutters, heat presses, or laser cutters
• Advanced design skills (Adobe Illustrator)
• Fluent with operating and using Windows PCs and tools like Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Dropbox
• Good attention to detail, we take pride in getting things right first time
• Ability to think a few steps ahead, and always be prepared for the next step
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8 hour shifts, full time

Pay & Perks:

• CA$18.00-CA$23.00 per hour - Starting wage based on experience
