Upgrade Your Belt System with PRE Labs Duty and Tactical Platforms

Kelowna, British Columbia — PRE Labs today officially launched its two new belt platforms, the Dakota™ Duty Belt and the Kova™ Tactical Belt, to build upon its lineup of high-performance survivability and armour products. They are available now in a variety of colours and sizes.

From the tough multi-layer nylon to the polymer core inserts, the belts are carefully crafted to provide stability and long-lasting performance for the wearer. The ergonomic shapes and lightweight materials contour to the body and offer enhanced mobility and balanced weight distribution. The belts are available with inner Velcro® Brand closure contacts or gel-like neoprene padding for added non-slip comfort.

“The belt platforms are designed to reduce strain and bulk while offering greater accessibility to added equipment," said PRE Labs CEO, Brad Field. "With the Kova Tactical Platform, the wearer is able to increase their overall ballistic protection with NIJ certified soft armour inserts. The belt is an essential component of an officer’s everyday carry and the Dakota and Kova Platforms deliver on comfort, mobility, and performance.”

Dakota™ Duty Belt

The Dakota, meaning friend or ally in Sioux language, is designed to evenly distribute the weight of any attached equipment in a sleek and ergonomic form factor. This effectively reduces pressure points and back and hip strain through extended periods of use. A webbing or rigger's belt can weave through the platform’s 360-degree laser-cut openings to accommodate extra pouches, accessories, and holsters.

Kova™ Tactical Belt

In the Inuit language, Kova means strong. Kova is powerful, courageous, and maneuvers with purpose and determination. The tactical platform optimizes load distribution while offering versatile gear configuration. The four rows of continuous laser-cut MOLLE provide end-to-end equipment customization. The Kova™ also accepts soft armour panel inserts to increase overall ballistic protection for maximum tactical coverage.
